Getting ready!

Who knew there was so much background work to do to get prepared for a show!

This has been fun though.

A couple of months ago I was invited to join 25 artists to show my work in Hereford. My latest series ‘Currents and Connections’ was almost complete so I took the plunge… my first exhibition.

My creative life has evolved over the years and now seems the right time to build a new website and get my work to a wider audience.

So… show prep…! 

As well as finishing, varnishing framing and wrapping the work there was inventory, labelling, coding, pricing, browser works, cards and more. Then there was the packing checklist, stewarding rota, and finding the venue has no car park! That will be challenging on ‘hanging day’!
